I've been running Ultimatelaunch for about a month (unregistered) with no stability issues.

Try searching here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366796). They have answered a lot of questions. If you don't find it then post. They are pretty good about getting you an answer.

Do not put today plugins inside UL and on the today screen at the same time .... that causes me problems

thanks! that is what i've been doing. so what do you do? i want teh htc home plugin to start up and incorporated in ultimatelaunch

Yeah, make sure all today plugins that you want INSIDE the Ultimate Launch are UNCHECKED to be on your Today Screen.

I am using PhoneAlarm on the Today Screen and the following inside of Ultimate Launch
Weather Panel
Battery Status
Today Agenda

Seems to work with one exception.

If I go to Mail, open the keyboard (Rotate Screen) then go to the today screen and close the keyboard, INSTANT LOCKUP. If I stay in mail, and go back to the closed position, I am fine.... Otherwise seems to be working.

i have been having problems too... since i installed UL my user interface has been extremely lagging. and i have tried all kinds of ways to get it working perfectly like how everyone says it works.

a lot of people says it works perfectly with out anything, but wheni have it installed it laggs up unbelievably...

i even have to put a back up until the latest time in order to get everything working.

i´m using ul for 2 month now and everything works fine! i use todayagenda and htc home inside ul and the wireless today plugin above and my mailprogram (tobit david) among ul.

i was forced to remove it and back up at the same time. i am very hesitant at trying it again.

To device memory of course!
Never install Today Plugins to your Storage Card, that can cause problems!

Hi there guys,

been searching if anybody had the following problem, then i stumbled on this thread, where somebody might be able to help me.

I had a qtek 9100 before with ultimatelaunch, with today plugins in ultimatelaunch. This worked perfectly, nothing wrong.

Recently, i purchased a Kaiser (to be precise, a T-mobile MDA Vario 3), on which i tried to run Ultimatelaunch. Everything works fine, except after i launched an application & go back to the today screen. When i run tomtom for example, and i go back to the today screen, the ultimatelaunch part is not automatically refreshed. If i just press in the area once, its redrawn. Does anybody have the same issue, or even better, a suggestion on how to solve it?

My system backs up nightly and I soft reset after every backup. I believe this eliminates many issues with my system.

After 3 weeks of testing, I do not have lockups with this combination.

this is a today plugin which is activated by the kaiser tweak and it shows if wifi and bt is dis-/enabled.
to switch wifi on, i have a button in ul.

also having problems when using home customizer. it seems to freeze ultimatelaunch for some reason

HTC Home works fine for me.
All my tabs (just three), have activate on startup enabled.

Problem is that HHC check if HTC Home Plugin is enabled at startup.
Because it thinks it's not, it starts HHC. After making changes, it will try to copy changed file's to HTC Home directory. Because HTC Home is loaded into Ultimate Launch that will fail, and make Ultimate Launch crash!

Best for you to do is, disable Ultimate Launch on your today screen, start HHC and make changes to plugin, then after applying re-enable Ultimate Launch. (Uncheck HTC Home, it's auto enabled trough HHC.)
That should work for you.

When I was testing HTC Home with UL, that's the same thing I did.

After installing UL my TomTom (6.010) is not finding the map anymore. Before TomTom worked fine and I have not installed other software after installing UI. Anyone having the same issue or an idea if there is a conflict between the two programs?
Any help will be appreciated, because I love UI and do not want to uninstall it.

Make sure you have the ttnavigator.bif file under \Storage Card\. If not copy it from \Program Files\Navigator or \Storage Card\Program Files\Navigator.

Ultimate Lanch shouldn't have deleted this file, but you never know.

UL doesn´t delete any folder or any file.
i also use tt and UL and i don´t have any problems like this.
all my tt datas are in the folder \storagecard\tom tom navigator 6\

nice you mentioned this Hans Olo thing, you're the first one in this forum :D (at least the first who asked about).
Unfortunately it's not my real name, just thought it to be funny...

To the UI issue: I meant the folders \Programme\Navigator and \Speicherkarte, (german version) so the map should have been found but wasn't.
What I did afterwards was installing the TomTom version 6.030 which was delivered on CD with my Kaiser (and I wonder why I have installed my previous bought older version before, maybe because I have paid especially for it :confused: and it always worked fine).

However, with the newer TomTom version I don't have the mentioned problem anymore and so I lost the interrest in finding the reason for it. Nevertheless, thank you very much for your support!
