Have a nice day! It's in Chinese but not WWE. Mixed reviews.
Can anyone confirm that this is a legitimate version or a fake one?

It is ajc2003 rom who produced this Fantastic Rom WM6.1 For Wizard OS 5.2.19521 built 19521 WWE. I think it is in Beta 1. Insead of calling it fake, I would call it hybrid, if it even is. Here is a link to show the progress he is making with it http://bbs.xbeta.cn/forumdisplay.php?fid=11&filter=type&typeid=64

That would be so awesome if someone already ported that one for the wizard.

Working great on my Fararaday. GnatGoSplat is the Cooker. He is the one behind this project; [Mar 24, 2008] Boring ROMs 5.2.1629 for AT&T, T-Mobile and now vanilla flavored!
Maybe you can ask him if he would port that build over and make it work with our Wizard:)

The 19202 I ported to Tornado and StarTrek are WM6.1 Standard. It wouldn't work well on a Wizard because you'd have to use the Dpad for everything, the touchscreen wouldn't work.
I can port any WM6.1, but Wizard should have the Professional version for touchscreen support.

just flashed this and also pulled it apart... i'm going to test it for a bit, but this version is basically TNT 19199. splash, customizing screen and version (CE OS 5.2.19202 (Build 191999.1.0.0)TNT) feel is the same too....
we'll see what's up with it, im guessing just a few modules were changed or maybe not even that, but still a good rom just like TNT's. too bad i can't find a real 19202...
btw, 19209 is available now... looks like a port of this:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=380913&highlight=19209 I am in Las Vegas attending CTIA Wireless show. MS has officially released WM6.1 today at this event. I checked some phones running 6.1 on MS booth and found the OS version is 5.2.19204 (Build 5.2.19204.1.0.1) on Tilt and 5.2.19524 on a Touch Dual. I think the Wizard is just too old hence I didn't see any displayed.

Any working links?
trust me, you don't want it, unless you are good are relocalizing roms. completely in chinese and the registry doesnt convert to rgu, making it a little hard to change the language :(

dude, you are the f**king bomb! i was working on this too and couldn't get it to work because i suck at porting roms... all packages intact, fully cookable, hey, its even in english :) this is the first wiz 6.1 rom that is useful for cooking!
i'm working on the minor issues and seeing what i can do to get this build as stable as anything else...
thankyouthankyouthankyou for supporting this community. to reinforce that other people suck, the recent version of this with its own thread that was finally ported back from chinese had the packages.sof, dsm's, and rgu's basically deleted :( bs... the only way to get stable roms is open source...

the original init flashfile is the same as the MMS5 package you gave me.
but this is the new one.
also I had to remove some more files (duplicates) and then, after I removed OEMlang0409 folder I had another issue. with "external components failing" IMFG's again. So I can't seem to get this thing to flash.
also, I noticed that the dsm is empty. is it supposed to be?

So as I try to understand:
navigate to oem/oem_lang-409
remove the files.
do I keep the arcsoft folder the same?
I just had a duplicate dll eror.
EDIT: removed the streaming media folder. no errors. hoping it boots. keeping fingers crossed.
It worked. Thank you so much for your patience. My problem was that I ran out out space in the nb0.

this version (18209) needs the touch dll replaced with the new one as well as the registry settings. I got them from Arserg touch scroling cab. the screen works very well now.:)
