Is Rev A a location thing?

I upgraded my phone to the new HTC ROM, and I NEVER have seen Rev A on my connection, it's the same "Ev" it always was. I have full bars, sis Rev A only available in certain locations?

The EV icon will stay the same, regardless of EV-DO revision, the only way you'll know if you're getting Rev. A service is if you get average more than 144kbps on the upload speeds, as Rev. 0 maxes out at that speed.
And yes, Rev. A service has been deployed in some locations and not others, if you're with Sprint, they have a coverage map online.
