MDA Vario III dead since it got unlocked

I have an MDA vario III - Tynt II

I did manage to unlock my phone eventually , however since I unlocked it I can't make or receive any calls. Anything that has to do with sound on my phone doesn't work, i.e. it doesn't ring if someone calls me , it only vibrates. I can't accept a call, the green button doesn't work when someone is calling me. also, when i make a call and I get through I can't hear the person on the other line and neither can he hear me.

Any suggestions?? I did try to soft and hard reset it but it doesnt rectify the problem. I've also tried to launch the bootloader.

I am worried that I might have made my warranty void now cos of this.
Is that true?

Hi Andrew,

When you say you unlocked your phone, what exactly did you do? A SIM unlock I presume so you can use any networks SIM? If so how did you do it? (e.g. software, online, code through eBay?)

What ROM are you running? You can find this in Start>Settings>SystemDevice Information
Copy all the info from that screen including the Radio Version.

which sim unlocker did you use, and did you reflash your original radio rom after unlocking?

I used the okiwiz to unlock my phone but now i cant mak any calls

can any one help?
