Hi all,

Sorry to be so demanding in my first couple of posts but I have another quick question. I currently have a Vodafone v1615 on which I am considering installing Duttys latest ROM but had a couple of quick questions of someone could help me:

Does this and other ROMs work fine with non-standard HTC Kaisers (for example the vodafone branded v1615?
Do I need to take a backup of my current ROM incase the phone develops a fault in the next 12 months and if so how do I go about this?
Finally, I have installed quick a few ROMs and have the phone setup how I like it but cant help being tempted by the increase of speed offered. Is it really that much of an improvement over standard roms?

Thanks,
Michael

You could search the Stickys and The WIKIs. They cover all your answers. And Is it an improvement over Standard ROMs. Hell to the Yes. I won't want to use a Stock ROM.

P.S. I hope its a typo But When you say you installed a few QuickROM i think you meant CABs. Good to know the difference here.

I can't comment on the V1615, but I had a V1605 (Hermes) and that unlocked (CID and SIM) fine and I tried every rom going without problems. There are also quite a few posts from people with the V1615 so I think you're ok. Anyway, as bapssystupr3m3 says, you can always return to stock rom.
