UPDATED: Would you like to see a cooked build of the new 19202?

I have been adding/deleting features and programs in the new 19202 build that NoThrills has so graciously released to us.

Due to it kaiser designed base, giving it amazing speed(even in complete stock form), I was curious as to how many people would like a cooked version released, with some bug fixes, registry tweaks, and also some added utilities.

If you would like this, please respond letting me know what you would like to see in this release. I have already cooked several versions for my own person use, and modified it for my own use.

Just let me know what everyone would like to see, and ill try my best to release a few builds to accommodate the majority.

I'd love to see the basic ROM with bug fixes and generic updates to the HTC progs. To many ROMs get stuffed with extraneous crap that isn't useful.

Cook away brother, as I'd enjoy the sampling.

I do not think this is a good build to cook from unless you feel like spending lots of time in the kitchen fixing MS screw ups! Has anyone noticed the screen tearing from the new .dlls? plus there are a few other things I won't mention since most of you haven't played with roms that long to understand what I am talking about.

Little fixes like backlight going out on call.

Removing of the useless Windows Update.

But most Important its clean!!! Fresh...

UC compliant for all us to enjoy the phone our way...

I like flashing other peoples work... But thats their work... The way they want the phone... Yes they add little bits and take bits out on request sometimes... But how nice would it be to have our own way...

- Comm Manager(6 Button)
- Latest HTC Album
- Camera Fix(Latest which i have seen)... PLEASE post the cab that contains which fix you are speaking of.
- Calculator
- GPS Test
- Office and OneNote has been removed in the lite version
- Welcome Center removed
- HSDPA Icon added
- HTC Plus added(disabled by default)
- HTC Home updated(now with tab under today settings)
- And more!

why not just rls ur own build? you did great work with the first kaiser rom.. continue austin..

why not release it? because it takes more time than it should to turn these WM6.1 pigs into something worth having on my phone :) I have worked many roms and this is fast yes I'll agree but it also has some major bugs simply follow the release thread and you will see. plus this build isn't released from MS it has been modded in some little ways which are fine with me since that's what needed to be done so as we wouldn't know where it came from.

...the fact that this thread header is asking what we would like in a cooked build, is actually false. The only 5.2.19202 we have is a cooked build. I would like to a see a non-cooked build :D

I would like to a see a non-cooked build :DWell, I'm not a professional cook. But I flashed about every ROM that was ever out here, both on my Hermes and my Kaiser.
And despite of your reactions, AllTheWay and Austinsnyc, I really really dig this ROM. Never had a faster and snappier ROM before (even not Dutty's), no single freeze for 4 days, never needed to softreset.
I don't use voicecommander, but I dó use bluetooth (carkit, external phone), GPRS, HSDPA, phone, TomTom, Navigon, PointUI, PZPTools, etc. It all works great!
Yes, there are some problems reported, but aren't they also with Dutty's, Schaps, Alex's?

And yes, it may be a cooked ROM, but for me it's really worth further developing...

there may be a way to graft the improved video drivers into a more stable rom.... I'd really need to see the base ROM to try this however...

That's the thing Sleuth. There is no real dependable "base". The OG versions is from a HK site & it's already cooked up. I tried getting one of the english speaky members to ask the OG poster for his "Official Beta Test" copy & never recieved response back.

So right now the only source is a hacked HK copy that is missing a lot of the rgu's, etc.

HOWEVER, I don't know if you saw my post about the WM6.1 official being released to OEM's tuesday, but I've got an AT&T guy that I'm working for a copy. Allegedly they will have a OEM supplied demo device for in-house real soon & I think we've come to an agreement on me being allowed to do an in house dump to my lap top.

If his money ends up where his mouth is, you will be the first person I fire it off too. ;) As long as you promise to keep my BB connect & medianet connections simultaneous with you WM voodoo. :D

You can't.

It would get me in serious trouble to provide it 'as-is' without modifications. These things are not supposed to end up on the internet, and I could lose my job for it. It would also mean I'd never be able to provide new ROMs anymore :)

However, if one of the chef's want it, I can supply it to them. But I'm not going to throw it out in the open :)

No harm in asking. GSLEON3 I don't know if you qualify as a chef but you are certainly the HardSPL Master and Kaiser Brick-reviver.
