View Full Version : Radio ROM Performance/Kaiser v. Hermes

Which Radio ROM has the best performance in terms of connectivity? I'm in Cozumel, Mexico on a short spring break. My wifes Hermes with running Radio ROM 1.54.07 and using Trashcan's No Thrills WM6.1 ROM is kicking the crap out of my Kaiser running Radio ROM 1.64.08.21 with PDA Viet's WM6.1 ROM. My friend has a Blackberry and it doesn't connect as well as the Hermes either.

Have any of you experienced better connectivity with one Radio ROM over another on the Kaiser? Does the Hermes have better radio hardware?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Try all Radios! Some Radios are better in some Countrys ... other not! If you dont try it by your self ... you doesnt get the best Radio!

I use the Latest 1.64 Radio and in Austria - Europe it works very well! In UK in some Network it makes a lot of trouble.

Check all 1.58 to 1.64 Radios!

Thanks. I couldn't flash my phone because I didn't have the cord. Anway, I'll try all the ROMs. It's funny because my wife's phone was connecting to a carrier which my phone would not connect to. That carrier did not even show up as available.

Thanks. I couldn't flash the phone to try different Radio ROMs in Mexico because I forgot my USB cable.

My wife's Hermes was hooked to a completely different network operator which didn't even show up on my phone.

I actually make the real rifles. See http://www.robarm.com. There is a Taiwanese company going to make an airsoft copy of my rifle in a few months. I also have gun making friends in Kufstein, Austria.

Austria is one of the most beautiful country's I've visited. If I didn't live in Salt Lake City, I'd want to live in Austria.

why not flash using your sd card?
