Things to know about this Rom

This Rom is a Hybrid between CE OS 5.2.19716 and new Build 5.2.19209
This is the First True 24mb pagepool Rom, I will release a guide for advance users on a later date.
MMS works perfect now
HTC HOME Today Plug-in now remove due to availability of other plug-in circulating around, [ will provide the custom one in my ROMs as an add on cab
Pocket CM is now default in the Rom please donate to the Author in first post
This Rom is also compatible with most or all of the wm6.1 radios including, Niki and Polaris.
Voice command button gives shortcut error just need to re-assign
If You get issues with Comm Manager popping up just kill comm manager using task manager in Utilities.
OEM Keyboard DISABLED in rom install cab below for activation for who that needs it.
Radio 1.65.14.06 is not compatable wh this Rom

oh i have the cab but liked the fact that it was built in and also was mainly using it because arcsoft always gave me alot of problems with mms but if it works for me here i will just stock sms program. Palm sms is pretty but kinda slows down rom

Not for me when i flashed the 1.58.16.27 radio i went from 100% to 50% in like 1 and half hour

i dont know why it got worse on mine when i updated the radio.
Even GPS tool takes a while too.

but when i do run Navizon, that thing locks on quick. Don't know why.

also anyone know where to download the latest 1.65 radio STANDALONE. I have looked and searched all the forym and I can only find 1.65 radio embedded inside an OS rom and I do not know enought to seperate radio from OS+radio rom file

woot! exchange synchronization works.

I did not hear the default ringtone when i called the phone, it did receive the call though.
Had to change the ringtone anyways.. which works now.

I found out this..

I open the Audio Manager first.. then the Ipod icon worked to.

If I click on it before open the Audio Manager once it reset loop.

Had only Pocket CM and symbol pad to choose at for soft keyboard first.
After installing Scandinavia Tastur and choose swedish keyboard the
Block , Character and Keyboard was there to.

Error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename.

I was getting the reboot when I clicked on the Ipod icon, the button directly to the left of this button causing this problem.

I have flashed this rom 3 times and did a hard reset about 6 times.

Also, I never saw the "Airplane Mode" anywhere under the Comm Manager.

Any suggestions?

Beautiful ROM Dutty. I had a prob on the WM6.1 5.2.19199 UC RTM with my bt headset not picking up. It worked in the WM6.1 5.2.19716 UC RTM. I thought that with this release that it would pick up but it does not. It is a jawbone and all specs in sig.

Yep, this is the only issue (not a huge one) with any of your ROMs I have every used...and I've used them all on my Tilt...

GPS issue is fixed now.. weird. must be the previous rom :confused:

TomTom can now lock on the sats in less than 1.5mins.. and thats without a visible sky!! its very cloudy out.

oh and me likes the true Task Manager on this one, now i can see CPU usage and background programs running.

On thing .. The standard keyboard is gone to.
As I posted before..
I fixed it by installing the Swedish Software keyboard.
But it dont stay as choosen if U softreset.
CM keybooard is back.
No biggie for me.. But may be for others that want English standard keyboard :)

Is anyone having problems placing calls through their BT headset using MSVC? It works fine through the speaker after re-assigning the button but I can't get it to work through the headset. I also tried some of the '173 recommended registry settings but that did not go too well.

Thought I would ask before trying the hack in the NoThrills thread.

did you hard reset, if not do that. If you have just try to hard reset again i find hard resetting usually fixes all problems. If not just reflash rom

Press down on the time on the main screen and an options bubble will pop up. Under options it lets you choose 12 or 24 hour time.

I could not get HTC Home to work. After I installed (HTC.Home.v2.1.1005.722.Directory.Fix.Only.schen) it would show home. Then when I intalled (HHCv10Final) and edited my custom weather city I installed (HomeDLL) and HTC Home disappeared. Besides having to install HTC Home, as it was included on Dutty's other ROM's I have followed the same procedures to get the custom city and it has worked every time. Any thoughts great minds of xda??? Also does anyone have the cab of battery status that Dutty used on the last 2 ROMs? I found (BatteryStatus[1][1].0.05) but it does not show the bar graph for cpu usage that I like.

It usually expires after 1 month and you can't update to new version unless you uninstall the old one which is part of the ROM.

have you tried to unclick htc home screen from the today settings and then reputting it on thats what i do sometimes or a soft reset usually solves the issue and i dont know where that specific cab is im currently searching

you might wanna get it in bootloader mode if at all possible and put on a new radio are you able to turn it on at all. If it keeps getting in rebooting cycles or if it turns on at all even for a short period of time hold down the camera button and push your stylus in the soft reset button hole. Thats how you get it in bootloader mode if you can get it there your golden

The same way you always change the them in PocketCM. Hold down the far right button (phone button)..and while holding it down another row will pop up above the other row. Slide you finger or to the 2nd from the left button and hold and release. A pop-up menu will appear allowing you to select the theme.

BT syncs without any problem...

Have rebooted Windows and hardreset the kaiser.
Nothing works.. The ActiveSync freezes tha few times it tryes to sync.
Its np to connect .. I can browse files and install software.. it just wont sync.

grr.. I suppose I could have it to sync over BT only .. but its alot faster over USB..

Any one have a idea.. ?? If not I just get some sleep and get on it tomorrow.. its 06:43 here .. so I may be little dizzy hehe ..

Here's what you need to do. Download a WM6.1 Radio from the link in my signature. Once you have it downloaded, unpack the file to your desktop.

Rename the .nbh file that's in the folder to KAISIMG.nbh (its case sensitive, should be in call caps).

But that file in the root of your storage card, So you will have the file in your /Storage Card/KAISIMG.nbh.

Go into bootloader menu by holding down the camera button and then inserting your sylus into the reset hole. Hold them both down for a couple of seconds. It should turn to a white screen. Hit the power button once. Once it's complete with the update, reset the phone by putting the stylus into the reset at the bottom of the phone.

No.. all updates in win update is installed.. but as my OS have the Swedish lang installed .. there is no SP1 out yet.

But I have not needed to do the uncheck before.. its strange..
Well I just have the USB for syncing and charging .. not any advanced networking ..

But It feels like a loosed fight not to be able to get it to work with that box checked.. hehe

Maybe it was just my flash, but the last link to the Rom isn't what's shown on the first post. I didn't bother flashing it twice, but I also noticed the .nbh file is a different size and name from the other one I just downloaded, which is indeed the correct file.

it works on the device it self but i dont think its working on the bt headset, I used to be able to press the button on my headset and it would activate vc but that isn't working might install my own msvc over it and see what happens

Seems like the other tones was excluded in this rom.
Open File explorer and choose a ringtone U want from Ur musik collection.
Hold on the tone and choose set as ringtone.

Sorry, it was 6 am, I had been up all night setting the new ROM up and I wasn't quite as coherent as I could have been :)

I (think...) I had to hard reset cause... I tried to install 0.14 over the version in the ROM to try to fix the problem of no options for PCM Keyboard, when that didn't work, I tried uninstalling the program from Add/Remove and after the uninstallation, I restarted the phone and it would not reach the splash screen anymore. I had to Hard Reset. I used 0.14 on Duttys previous ROM so the program works, maybe my uninstallation just removed something that the ROM expected to be there on startup, I know too little about it, just wanted to give a heads up before someone else made the same mistake as me.
Hopefully there will be an Options fix from Dutty soon.

Seems like the other tones was excluded in this rom.
Open File explorer and choose a ringtone U want from Ur musik collection.
Hold on the tone and choose set as ringtone.

Sorry, it was 6 am, I had been up all night setting the new ROM up and I wasn't quite as coherent as I could have been :)

I (think...) I had to hard reset cause... I tried to install 0.14 over the version in the ROM to try to fix the problem of no options for PCM Keyboard, when that didn't work, I tried uninstalling the program from Add/Remove and after the uninstallation, I restarted the phone and it would not reach the splash screen anymore. I had to Hard Reset. I used 0.14 on Duttys previous ROM so the program works, maybe my uninstallation just removed something that the ROM expected to be there on startup, I know too little about it, just wanted to give a heads up before someone else made the same mistake as me.
Hopefully there will be an Options fix from Dutty soon.

NikI think there's something wrong in the way Dutty installed PCMKeyboard.
There's a PCMKeyboard map in Program Files, but in registry it points to a .dll in Windows. So the map in Program Files isn't complete and therefore PCM can't find any extra (own) skins. When you copy your skin to the Windows map PCMKeyboard will find it.

I think a solution might be to copy the .dll from Windows to Program Files and pointing the registry to that file.

I just used up all the program memory on my phone which is a first. After installing all my programs i have about 49mb of program memory left. I was running Pocket Egress (Rss Reader), word, resco explorer and opera mobile. and as i was browing around xda developers forum the cpu started getting used 100% and i got a pop up saying i need to close one of the following apps to continue using my phone as the memory is critically low. I had to soft reset cause it wouldn't close opera. Never had that happen before. I am assuming this has to do with the 24mb pp hurts program memory :(.
I also have SPB Mobile shell/pocket plus/google search/battery status running in background which is normal for me.

Dutty would be nice to have non pagepool rom or changing page the other way rom just to see how it is compared to this.:)

Sure you can. You may choose between FJ and Imaginet arabization. Last one doesn't support hardware keyboard.

Dutty this rom is almost perfect!!.....love the new keyboard(but please update to new version)this one expires..and keep it in!!(id love to see u put pocketcm in also as default contact manager) also get rid of the ugly samsung clock and put home back in (im having strange problems with the home & ultimate launch that i installed)...love the new fonts!!!
the rom is super smooth and fast...mms working perfect on att..like i said rom is almost perfect just my minor personal taste stuff

Ouch .. that have never happend on my Kaiser. I also have alot running in the background.
And use many apps at the same time..
My old touch could do that.. but that little bugger had only a teaspoon of memory.
Strange.. try to lower the cache in Opera.

My Kaiser is lightning fast with this rom..
Memory is lower because the REAL PagePool is bigger.

Thanks a ton for all your hard work. I must say this is the most stable ROM to date. All my programs ( i use way too many) have been compatible and cooperative. MMS works perfect on US At&t. Activesync is much happier with this ROM. I even got the .8 version of TCPMP to work on this one and that has been hard on most 6.1's for me. The only snags ive found are, it was a bit difficult to change the time format (i had to change the registry)(anyone who cant figure this out on thier own Click (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=375288)), and the pagepool uses up a good bit of program memory. I may have to change tactics and begin installing a few things to memory cards like i used to on my wizard and hermes.

Overall superb work. :D

Im anxious to see what comes around in the next few weeks as we see some more official 6.1 ROMs uncovered.

Side note: Can anyone with the new coreplayer tell me if it can be used to completely replace TCPMP? Or would I still neeed both. Thinking about buying it.

Its kinda odd because i changed HC home completely with hhc. Even if they were missing in the original install that should have written them in. I used the JUVS version Home.

Ill dig around a bit and see if I can figure out a way to fix it.

There is a newer version of HTC Home (at least its the newest ive seen) in the newest rom that popped up yesterday. Im hoping someone will extract it so I can play with it. I wont have time to extract it myself this week. That might be a little more compatible with these newer cooked roms.

Ive used the JUVS Home on several 6.1 roms though and never had problems with the profile icons. It may be an issue with how it ties in with the system and not being cooked in. If any cooks can comment that would be great.

i ran out of program memory as well . then i realized that it was cause of voice command running in the background so i deleted it from the start up menu in the windows folder.

im at work so i will try to get the fix rom completed with what im capsble of doing i will posssible reduce the pagepool to 18mb but i havent no issues with my program memory going doing rapidly. an higher pagepool decreases the ram but allow the device to work much better as it can allocate more space needed when running or more programs at a time. batterry at work is not so bad still testing.

Hmmmm ok thats the same on im using. I have experienced a bug with the newer version of HHC in some other 6.1 roms. I will try rolling back to one of the beta versions and let you know the results. Thats what I had to do in t 19716 version to get it to work right.
