I am going to upgrade to the AP black touch rom. Do i need to install .net compact framework 2.0 or 3.5? Does it make any difference? I've just recently heard of this 3.5, and have never installed it on any of my previous devices. Someone help, please.

Are you tallking about the netframe on the device or on the PC? If I remember correctly, you need that in the PC before you can use the unlocker. Your PC may already have it though.

Certainly on PCs, and so I assume on PPCs as well, .Net are not upgrades. You need .Net 1.0, 2.0 AND 3.5 (they are still working on 3.0!)
ie if a program need .Net 1.0 it will not work with 2.0 or 3.5 and if it needs 2.0 it will not work with 3.5
Best install all 3!

I don't get the impression that you need it on the PPC. If you look at the video demo, the demonstrator had a hard reset, which would certainly wipe out everything on the device, before using the unlocker.
Also, I'm not sure if it is possible to install all three versions on the PC simultaneously. I would have thought that the newer version would "upgrade" the older version, or uninstall the older one before installing itself, but I could be wrong. Have not tried it myself. If I'm you, I would not try the newest version, but stick to the one that Olipro was testing on. You would never know if the newer version would work the same and cause any bricking. Why not just use the one he has already tested on?

Like I say, on the PC it is NOT an upgrade - you do need all 3 versions.

From microsoft.com, it seems that 3.5 is indeed the all in one package. i haven't seen this video yet, it wont play on my advantage. i dont need .net framework 2.0 to my ppc, only my pc? it seems described this way in the wiki. i think the mobile versin is called compact .net framework. i will be home later, and watch this video, attempt upgrade.
