i have a suggestion for u. it might help. i recently tried an Atom O2. its really good. i liked one of its feature very much is tht, whenever u hard rest or refresh ur device it prompts the user to install some preloaded applications on the first run of the device. so i was thinking tht u can also try this on ur ROMs. u can use the extended rom for this. here,u can store the apps u wnt in ur rom and create a autorun script which will prompt the user to install the apps on first run of the device. this will also allow user to install and use the apps of his choice. it will also help in saving phone storage memory.

plz work on this idea. it might help...

Hmm.. maybe i posted too soon.. looks wise, this rom rocks.. but performance is bad.
my audio manager is causing phone to hang and touchflo keeps restarting.
had to soft-reset my phone 5 times today and it was stuck in teh main HTC screen for a long time.
now touch flo itself is not opening. i'm stuck with a blank Home screen.

USE Audio manager and then use trimm option ,NO need of any other Mp3 cutter.

soft-reset or turn off and on your device and verify during boot if in spl appear 1.10.olip or 1.07.oref. If one of the two appear your device is CID unlocked.

Volume has decreased and touch flow is also not working correctly. cant launch internet explorer through touch flow.

I can give you working ROM build (WM6) for P3400i to look in to detail.

As lom is not responding . i would like to pitch in my thoughts on this .
There is no change in Xip or Porting file in 3400i . It is the same old device which was there with Dopod ( initially gene was dopod D 600 before HTC bought dopod) . Then it is p3400 and p3400i .. it is just the Rom version which they are updating .. it has nothing to do with XIP .

I have a new p3400 that upgraded by me from windows 5 to 6.1 GENE_wm6.1_19971wwe fusion9.0 after upgrading my problem is that my battery power status always show 100% doesnt show the true status of my battery and when i want to charge it although the battery is not full but the green LED turn on and after a few minutes the LED change to orange but after a few minute the orange LED is wink.what i hav 2 do plsssssssss help me 4 this plssssssssss.

Haan ji Bhaisahab.. kya hai.. there is no working ROM upgrade for p3400i yet.. DO NOT RUN THE p3400 wm6.1 lomlom rom.. you will brick your device.. unless you have already.. i beleive these roms are being cooked as we speak.. and i have just recovered my neighbours gene p3400i aftyer 2 nights of sitting extensively on the form and thanks to orefkov...

Default To all who using P3400i and post march 2008 GENE (S/N HT8XX)
There is no WM 6.1 update for these devices yet.
XIP and SYS parts are updated on this new devices.
All available WM 6.1 roms have used old GENEs XIP and SYS
Please wait until rom builders to build separate version for newer genes.

Now HSPL is available for these new genes by 'OREFKOV'
Please dont try to use Olipros HSPL. It is for old genes. You will end up with bricking your device.
If you have bricked your device by using Olipros HSPL, unbrick solution found by Orefkov.

It is the same device with a new ROM flashed by HTC .... you will not brick any thing if follow the instructions of how to flash a 3 rd party cooked ROM , for that you need to be here for some time .. reading different posts from different members ... I have flashed 2 devices with LOM ROM and works like a champ .. ( only the touch flow sucks ) ...

There is some differences, But It is not the Hardware or Radio.
It is something do with SYS ans XIP (software)
We are trying to figure it out.

Hello to all,

Great ROM,
but TouchFlo is too intensive, apart from that it doesn´t allow other today plugins to load, like trying to install batterystatus to overclock the cpu. Ended up disabling TouchFlo, installing htc home and batterystatus and noticed a huge performance jump as well as battery life.

I've been noticing that whenever i use internet connection sharing, after a while when i open 3-4 windows in firefox the cpu usage on the pda jumps to 100% and locks the internet connection, after disconnecting ICS, PDA CPU usage drops to 1%, then i've got to connect and start all over again.

anyone else getting the same problem?

I am facing these problems as well! Fusion 9 has really solved the battery issue I was facing from my first ever 6.1 upgrade. However, I have another issue in addition to above, don't mean any disrespect but the dialer is hideous (Screen shot attached)!!! Any chance of getting the HTC Black Diamond dialer? :D

Well, The launch browser button can be get back to work by using the tool M2DC (Manilla 2D Customizer) and selecting a default browser.

Google maps rab will only work after installing googlemaps_compressed.cab which can be found on this forum.

The Music tab and Library works by using the Audio Manager. So if audio manager can find your files they will be visible. I think you should give it sometime to search for files.

The dialer skin can be changed by using any available Dialer skin. I recommend using the Opal dialer skin from this forum. Just search for "Opal Dialer Skin", download the cab and install it in phone memory.

Just out of the blues my laptop stopped connecting to my device through Activesync. I last syncd 4 days ago and nothing has changed in between, no OTA installs or anything. Yesterday I connected through USB cable and after couple of minutes of 'connecting' Activesync threw an error.

The Activesync option on the device still says 'usb' so the solution is not that obvious! Can anybody tell me what went wrong?

Please note that it doesn't work with Original WM6 P3400i ROM. But works well with this WM 6.1 ROM.

The reason I like the same is that, it is very lite and looks nice. I agree there are many great dialers out there. But, most of them I found very heavy or consuming more RAM. This one is very lite with just 293k in size as well as consumes very little RAM. Screenshot given below.

Just delete the existing partnership with your device, using "Delete Mobile Device" link in the Actie Sync. Then connect your device to ActiveSync and reconfigure the settings. It will work.

I think, you should give a try with hard-reset. I have been using this ROM since quite some time and never faced an issue with Active Sync. So, I think, it is worth to give a try.

Hard reset did the trick. Don't know what went wrong. Changed the dialer too :)

Ok it happened again. I came back from lunch and connected my device to get the same activesync error. This time I disconnected GPRS and connected the device and the problem was solved. Weird!

Any of the developers could shed some light on this? Is this some connection conflict or something?

You may want to try:
In Active Syn on Desktop, go to File-> Connection Settings...
There, you will have to tick "Allow wireless connection on device when connected to Desktop." option.

Thanks lomlom and all xda members, i am a dentist and bought p3400 last month, saw lomlom fusion on friends phone and got interested. i am totally novice at this but want to upgrade my m 5.0 to 6.1 fusion. I have downloaded lomlom's NEW GENE_WM6.1_19771 WWE from here. Please help me by posting upgrading insturctions, step by step as you would do to a school child (remember i am a dentist and know nothing more than a school boy about upgrading). However after reading many of the posts here i have understood that my phone details will help you help me guide through the procedure of upgrading..... the details are

the one who tries to send files get the error failed to send..
can u please check and let me know if there is any workaround for it

few days ago i have upgraded my htc p3400i with this rom,everything was working perfect....but after that when i soft reset my phone it gets message showing error "Device start up failed due to sudden loss of power,please click yes to continue" , if anybody can solve this problem plz help me????

That happens sometimes and is nothing very serious. Dont move the phone too much when it is connected to USB cable and is rebooting. It happens mostly at that time and often when the battery is fully charged. You have to press the softkey for YES when it appears, but it may Hard Reset your phone, means the data on phone memory may get lost. :o
