I read this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=335568&highlight=warranty+purpose

BUT, when I load the default AT&T ROM, the screen that wants me to Tap to set up gets me stuck because my touch screen does not work anymore....

How can I skip this screen completely so I can continue to proceed to get the 3rd party bootloader off my phone?

ATT has already sent out a replacement for me but I NEED to get the default bootloader back on.

I hope this make sense.

Thanks!

don't think you need to go to the today screen to get the bootloader off you put you phone in boot loader mode that's with the power, camera and hard reset bottom press at the same time and flash the original bootloader on it . . . so no need to go to the today screen i think. . . anyone correct me if i'm wrong . . .

hey man i understand what your saying and sorry i dont know of any way around it not to say its not possible. but to put your mind at ease i give you a 95 percent chance of getting off scott free as long as the orginal rom is on there they rarley check if the device looks as it should powering up and it will becouse you have the rom on there then you should be good to go they just assume any other changes were made with cabs or other software

An idea I had was to cook a ROM using the original ROM and take out the initial setup wizard so I don't have to tap to set up and then continue with the removal and reinput of the original bootloader, then load the oem rom. Is this feasible, if so, anyone know how to do this? Any help is appreciated.
