Problem with slow performance.

Here is the problem. I use Egress to download my podcasts (which takes forever on the wizard, was pretty quick on my axim) to my card. The problem is when I click to open a feed I want to read up on it takes about 30 seconds to draw all the text if said text is longer than one full screen. So if I try to scroll down to read it, it takes another 30 seconds to draw all the text. The phone basically freezes while its drawing and I canot perform any other functions till it draws the text. If the text does not take up a full screen then it open pretty much instantly. I hope I explained the problem well.

I have latest update of egress and about 15-16mb of free program memory. Overclocking doesnt seem to effect the draw time.

Any suggestions or similar experiences?

Wow... just d/l newsbreak. MUCH better at caching podcasts than egress. a lot faster then egress for some reason. also no problem displaying large amounts of text. more accessible icons and things for podcast users. I like it.
