voice command won't load on Mogul

I had a PPC-6700 with Microsoft Voice command 1.5. Today Sprint upgraded me to the Mogul PPC-6800 after a warranty issue.

I have tried to install VC 1.5 but it gets an error message before it completes.

Is the 6800 compatable with Microsoft VC 1.5?

Do I need to upgrade to VC 1.6?

Any other ideas?

Version 1.6 works... I can't speak for version 1.5...

I am also using MS Voice Command 1.6 with the latest Sprint stock ROM. It works fine... even with Bluetooth headsets.

Unfortunately, I have no experience with earlier versions of the product, but if I had to venture a guess, I would say upgrading will solve your issue.

I upgraded to Voice Command 1.6 and it works perfect, even via bluetooth headset.

For some reason, the little 'beep' does not always, (actually most the time) play when you push the button to activate VC.
