I would like a version with the MenuPop.wav and hwandsw.wav removed. They are currently a part of the ROM and I cannot delete them witch is the way to get rid ofthe annoying click sounds when pressing the Start Menu, drop down menues, etc.

No, thats not true. That only disables Start Menu sounds, and popup-dialog sounds. Alerts for reminders, SMS and phone calls will still work.

Well, problem solved. I found the location in the registry and removed the sounds. Problem solved.

This is the best wm6.1 rom to have right now.

it's great.. fast, stable.. no random restarts, no freezing.

it's perfect.

the new radio that's required by this rom is also great.. i get H in a lot more places now.

With every othe WM6.1 ROM except this one, if I installed Touchpal and Voice Command they did not get along. I would run into drivers not loading, Voice Command exiting, and general instability. This has not happened with this ROM so far.

I have noticed that when running Pocket Plus and SPB Diary today plugins that sometimes the today screen does not finish loading on reboot, requiring another soft reset. Also, the icons for SPB Plus do not always load, requiring a refresh.

All in all, I am content with this ROM so far. I have a Treo 750 as a backup device I fall back to when my Tilt starts acting up. For all of its lack of features (compared to the Tilt) my Treo 750 is, BY FAR, the most reliable Pocket PC Phone I have ever owned.

man, sadly not. on my device it moves pretty good but I found i need to put alot more pressure for the screen to react. Again, compared to NoThrills's 19202 ROM.

i think that you didn't aligne wright your screen in first boot after flashing ;)
you can do it of course now from screen settings.

after you can put kaiser tweak and adjust your touch sensitivity :)

everything will be perfect after that ;)

try it please and you will see the difference, after doing that i say:)

this rom is really very good!

thre is another issue in this rom with kb mapping...there is a mess using the fn button in compilation with other buttons....and some special characters are missing at all :(

is there any fix to have back the oem kb mapping ?

Thank u cloudyfa for this wonderful rom.
It is indeed smooth fast and generally no hiccups to date even though I restore all my applications through sprite which were installed under a previous rom save and except

1.network connection error-overcome by installing network wizard
2. the dialpad is white ie no digits can be seen-overcome it by installing the iphone dialpad.

I am generally very happy with it.After installing many applications/programs I still had ample rom(storage) and ram(program) for multi-tasking to run efficiently and fast.

I just installed the slcpc cube uno v1.62 however the down-up motion cannot activate the cube.I had to activate it through hot-button or hard button.

How would this rom compare with(in particular the total/usable storage and total/usable ram immediately after flashing)

1. udk v8.0 r2 vega
2. L26_WM6.1_PRO_V1_Hybrid (Based on the ATT 209 build)

Has anyone tried all these 3 roms and feedback of experience will be much appreciated

Well of course, however after I re-flashed radio (1.65.14.06) and after several soft resets finally it syncd the time.

Maybe registry needed jumpstart...?:o

Yep, you have to hard reset if you try to install that build.
1.60.4622.0 will install and work for activating commands, but it won't announce new messages or incoming calls (not good).

I think this ROM needs Microsoft Voice Command V1.6.19209!

Must say after several days of using, this ROM is working very good for me. TomTom locks quick, MSVC works well, Have HTC Home and SPB Weather installed plus a few others. No tweaking or mods, all works Well

Create a small wav of "silence"...replace the other waves with the new "silent" one...as an added bonus you can also assign this sound file to people who call that you don't want the phone to ring for.

Wow! My Kaiser changed from a great turtle to an amazing gazelle!!! :)

1) At the same time, I do have a few questions:
2) Is there anyway to add the Acrobat Reader (missing...:confused:)
3) How can I turn off the selection clicks sounds?
4) The Keyboard layout is a bit mixed-up... e.g. FN+s results in ";" instead of ", FN+d results in ":" instead of "%" and a few more. Is there ANYway to change it back to the default Keyboard layout?

GPS problems are probably associated with radio.... the NEON radio seems to have shown the fastest times yet to get a GPS lock... just from experience..

One issue, however:
Using the TytnII with MK6100 - I'm experiencing frequent disconnections between the phone and Parrot handsfree unit. The disconnection never happens while in a call, only when phone is idle.

TytnII ROM Build: S4V.19209.01 WWE
ROM date: 03/20/08
Radio version: 1.65.14.06
Protocol version: 25.81.40.02H

Parrot version: Latest

Any suggestions?
What's the recommended radio version for use with this ROM?

Hi!
I have a Tytn II running S4v.19209.01 and Radio1.65.14.06 paired with a Parrot MK6100. All functions working okay EXCEPT for a problem:
After I end a call, the Tytn II disconnects from the Parrot, so if I make or receive another call - it is not transferred through the Parrot MK6100.

I tried other Radios (1.58.25.1 / 1.65.24.36) but had the same exact problem with all of the Radio versions tested.

Any ideas or fixes anyone knows of?
