good day to all after trying everything and asking so many chef here and there I was able to make a rom suitable for your needs.. a big storage for our personal preferences

program: 29.15 ( have not yet hibernated)

I have not put a battery status because I think it is fast enough and dont need overclocking
I have not also include the htc home because I think some members like to use spb shell and others like to use ultimate launcher as their today screen... as I have said this rom was made thinking of you

It seems that we are getting more cooks coming around, which is good, cuz alot of the 'older' chefs have moved on to other devices. So with this new wave of cooks, myself included, we can keep the wizard forum alive. :D

Just one question, were you able to fix the problem with Windows Meda Player only playing the first couple seconds of each song? if you did great, you wouldn't mind letting me borrow your fix...?

Flashed this early this morning and so far has been a Great rom. Paired my Headsets and cars Hands Free, Bluetooth works and functions like it should. Installed M$ VC1.6 and all functions work. Push mail works. I instaled HTC Home and it does not even slow this rom down at all. SMS and MMS both send and recieve, Active sync paired fine with Vista and XPSP2.

It is faster than nothin roms if you know how his roms used to be....

I am using the mediafire because I want to give a rom that has no virus that came in their downloads... if someone want to have it mirrored please check your antivirus first before giving a link

as we have agreed grinminded and I; we want to give a rom that will suite everybody if you can see after a hard reset you have a 30 mb storage for your personal taste :)

dont want to overcrowd a rom that you will not use... if you want to have a rom that has your applications on it maybe you can give me a PM and give me a oem and sys so I can include this on our next release

again I want to thank you for trying this rom and try to report if there is something is wrong /bugs

AMP may also mean angat mo pinoy ( there are so many cooks out there but less I see filipino's putting their roms here... so we took a brave step to let you have a taste of filipino dish taste like :)

I have tried downloading from my windows xp machine and no luck getting it. I have no tried from ubunutu machine and it downloads a 0kb file. Does anyone have a suggestion for what I am doing wrong here. Funny how I have no trouble flashing my phone but I can't even download this rom.

I have a sugjestion: enable NTIZ, and either make the Network wizard not auto run on first boot or integrate it into customization. The two conflict and make the customization run slow.
just installed it a few minutes ago and backing up my settings registry.
This thing seems to work very well.

Actually i am not comparing, WM6.1 is faster than WM6.
And Nothin has only offered his roms in WM6 and not in WM6.1.
So What i was trying to say is that there was no WM6.1 faster than Nothins WM6 Paradox. Hence yours is the first one which is faster than his WM6 roms.
And none the less i am bigger fan of Nothin, and was using his WM6 until i put hands on yours 6.1.

I changed it to large butttons expecting it to work with 10 buttons... however, all I saw was white text, no background... that is the white text was over the previous screen (and barely visible).
So I got this idea: why not make the background semi-transparent. vista like. that way you can still see the background immage and the previous screen,

Note: can't connect to internet via activesync.

tried applying the registry tweak found in this forum and internet via activesync works now

had to add this in PC via regedit

i don't know whether any of you faced this but calls which i got while i was on another call (call-waiting feature enabled) were shown as received calls instead of missed calls...kinda got fixed by installing "Wizard_reTOUCHed_Dialer2.cab"

First of all, thank you for your work, character. It's a great ROM. Very fast and stable so far. Battery usage is ipressed me. After one day moderate usage it's still at 70%, although processor is running at 240MHz.
I only have a few little problems.
1. I can not send any file via bluetooth to my colleagues Universal. OBEX is enabled on the Uni.
2. I can not download messages via WIFI, while i can browse with IE.

If these are not the ROMs bug, and somebody have any idea, please post it.

What kind of files are you trying to play? If they are .wma, they may be copy protected. The desktop version lets you preview the songs but not play them completely if you copied the from another computer. I don't know just a guess...

have you flashed a rom before?
if so yoou can use that but copy the .nbf file to the folder yoooooou have flshed your rom before... there will be a warning hat you will replace the .nbf file >>> choose yes

now you can go to the same process as yooou have done when you flashed yoour rom before

About WiFi, I have the solution. I have to change network settings from GPRS to "Internet" in pocket outlook. I don"t remember that I had to do that under WM5. It's a bit complicated but working.

Well Again , Thanks To ya , grinminded , Whoever Helped u Out and to be honest i just like to say that till now i didnt find any bugs (Wierdo) till now , mabe the rom needs more customizations with a nice dialer and contacts looking as i really scare to install much programs that may affect rom speed and stability , maybe u just need to remove the network wizard and add a version that has all countries on it so it dont bug anyone sure splash screen need to be better than that to fit rom like this will be the best in so near . i dont know what will be on the next release which i am waiting , but i dont think anything will be better than this rom , one think last to all cooker and famous cookers , ( GUYS WATCH THIS THREAD , DOWNLOAD THIS ROM AND LEARN WHAT U MAY NEED TO KNOW ) Thanks again brother

This rom is definitely fast and stable. For some odd reason I can't get the HTC Album to rotate the screen, zoom, or scroll through pictures.

Does the ipl/spl have to be a certain version? Can't wait for the next version with the upgrades. I will 100% be amp'd from now on. Thanks!

I also have this problem. Tap the screen in fullscreen, tap the "i" button then "OK". Then it works.

i don't know if it was only me but i had problems with the sensitivity of screen trying to close programs with the finger so had to disable TouchFlow Scroll via registry edit, changing HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings\EnableScroll to 0 then reboot. Now it works properly and also fixed PhatPad inability to scribble problem too. Maybe it's better if this is disabled by default, imho.

Still haven't tried out 19209...maybe i'll give it a go and report back...i think 19209 is the future so maybe AMP deserves the upgrade.

Including HTC Home plugin would be a bonus for me as that's the first thing that i install.

KeySwop (http://mobile-sg.com/software/?p=KeySwop&platform=ppc) is a handy app to to remap the softkeys on the today screen.

I found another bug. When I use Smart dial, some contacts are not shown. I did some tests. Everything is OK, untill I press "8". Then 8 turns to 6 and I get totaly different result. Does anybody experienced this?

i am using VITO Technology Fun Contact now so i can't be sure if that solved the problem. give it a try and let us know too.

Just a quick suggestion on your next release 1.2...

Would be nice have a Vanilla version totally clean with just a few official builtin apps. Think it over!:p

anyway, version 1.0 is preety fast as samy stated. Really cool! But I still got some apps that I personally don't like. that's why I'm suggesting you a Vanilla.

I charged the battery 3 days ago, and still at 50 percent. CPU is runing at 240Mhz. I didn't used it too much today and yestarday, but on weekdays battery is at about 35-40% by the end of the second day of usage.
I think it's very nice from a two years old battery.
The previous ROM I flashed to my device was a battery eater. I charged it fully at the morning and it was at 20% at 4 pm. I thought my battery is dead. Then I realised it's because of the ROM.

I have the BT8040 headset and this ROM. The ROM works great on most accounts, but, When I try to play music through the headset it plays for 3 seconds, then I loose audio for a half second, then plays for 3 more seconds, then I loose audio for a half second and so on.. If I shut Blue tooth down and headset off, then reboot and turn bluetooth on it works, but after a while it starts up again. Any ideas?

You cook very well Character. It works wonderful (and fast) on my qtek9100. I hope you will intergrate "pdf reader" and more games in your future release :-)

I am sorry if I haven't posted a new ROM i think pdf is good to add but consumes so much bytes better to install it on you sd card... anther reason why I did not install is because it is too small to read;)

Character, you don't need to feel sorry, you have already done much :-). I had now install pdf and some card game on my :-)

By the way this ROM is better than your AMP.v2.Vanilla.rar , because there are more apps (just like Total Comm, QuickMenu..) and IE works better.

Now I need paltalk and flash plugins for my qtek.

..when you getting tired of PPC, you can try to play with this one at http://85.81.163.190 (flash; turn on your speakers) :-). If interest I can send you some documentations.

If you are older 18, I think you are definitely have experience with "customer service" :-). You communicate with many in this forum, it helped a lot.
Anyway to talk nice, to have patience, to have competence are the key to be a good member in the customer servcice team.
