this is why we hate DUMB AZZ questions and we all get pissed off. I swear some people should not try and chnage roms unless they have someone baby sitting them. this is not directed towards the OP just dumb questions in general. IF THEY CAN'T READ THE WIKI THEY SHOULD HAVE A NICE PAPER WEIGHT TO PLAY WITH!

You're absolutely right but.... We all were noobs. We've all made mistakes. He needs to read more but we can't get so absolutely pissed every time some one says something dumb. Maybe it should be a requirement that all new members COMPLETELY read the FAQ. This is by far the best forum for our phones and the community here is the greatest. We don't need to be so mean.

I've always been told, that if you've nothing positive to say, then say nothing at all.

If you're sick and tired of all the "n00bs" posting the same questions over and over, just don't reply, there's no need for you to go all postal on their ass, it doesn't improve your epeen in anyway, doesn't make you look superior, just think happy thoughts about their impending brick, and move on to the next thread.

Or heck, break the mould, answer the question again.

And for all the people spouting "read the wiki", the link (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Kaiser#ROMx20.Upgrading) never loads.

Yes my register date is in January. But I read for months before I began posting here. Then I Registered, And I sat and read some more. I found I could Find the answer if I opened my eyes and looked.

Then I started giving back to the community, I never came in here claiming I knew everything, I knew stuff from reading and trying things out on my own. So I would help people who asked and point people in the right direction. By creating another thread on the same subject, it dilutes the Search Function and makes navigating harder. Therefore making it harder for the next person to find their answer then we get yet Another Thread. We then become Parrots. All P1 is asking is that you act like an adult and try to think for yourself instead of being spoon feed.

I don't think I have had to ask any questions on how to go about somthing. Most all of my problems with devices have been experienced if not by few but by many other people all over the internet (Google is your frind ;)). Before I tried to flash my Kaiser, I spent some time researching people's experiences and problems. I don't recall leaving this forum for finding the info (everything you need to know about the Kaiser is located on this site). Most people who thought they had "bricked" their phone could flash back to their original rom. Recently I saw a post where the Kaiser was truley bricked but that was by doing non standard stuff to the device and I did take note to never try what they did.

So to make a long story short, you can find anything with the right search terms. 99.99% of the time it has already been asked. And if it has been asked, an answer should be posted and your problem solved same day. You ask, the problem solved in several days as you wait on others to respond.

on another note: I find it hard to believe that "USB" is the only thing you see on the bootloader. I read left to right, TOP to Bottom. Even before using hardspl, saw the yellow text on the red bar and then after when it changed to "OliPof". If you cannot read this forum then no wonder you can't read your screen .
