Clicking on new messages closes the message?

Hi, when i get a new email and click on it. the email minimizes and returns to the desktop/today screen. but when i click on messages again, I see the email opened.

is this happening to anyone?

this seems to happen in most roms i tried, it usually starts to happen after 2 - 3 days of use.

I see this is a fairly old post, but the same is happening on my Sprint HTC Touch Pro with WM6.1. I've tried every possible configuration of email servers, deleted and re-setup email accounts, done multiple hard resets, and nothing has cured this problem.

I have a replacement unit coming, as "since everything I've tried hasn't resolved the problem, it must be in the hardware", but my suspicions are the coming unit will act exactly the same way.

my hermes does the same thing. it could just be WinMo sucks like that.

what rom are you using? this happens to me with some roms but others don't do this...
