On WM5, my excalibur had the following feature:
In the Start Menu, when icons were displayed, you could hit the key that corresponds to the icon to launch the right program, thus:

q w e r
a s d f

So pressing 'd' would launch the program whose icon is on the 2nd row, 3rd column.

On wm6.1, at least my version, you can also use shortcuts, except that now you use numbers. So 1 is first icon, 2 second, and so on.

I really liked the keyboard scheme.

Does anyone know if/how one can turn this option on?
