Upgraded Dash WM 6.1 warrenty issues?

Hello All!

I havn't modified phones in over a year, the last few that I did where motorola razr and slider versions. I recently jumped into these forums and updated my Dash to WM 6.1 and really like it. My dash developed an issue yesterday, the ear piece has some sort of feedback in it, kind of makes everything sound a little fuzzy -- I can still hear people, but it's annoying. Now that i've upgraded to a Kavana ROM, is T-mobile going to give me crap about replacing the phone (its only 6 months old)? Or is this rectified by reflashing with an official T-mobile WM 6 rom from the offical ROMS thread (or can you not go backwards?)?

Also as a note, I'm fairly sure this is a hardware issue in the Dash's earpiece not something software related from the actual upgraded to Kavana WM 6.1 080330.
