Well, I know this has been asked numerous times but I haven't seen any worthy response and I am hoping that someone will recommend something worthwhile this time. I am looking for an AIM/MSN messenger that is compatible with the T-Zones proxy. I tried IM+ with port 110 for AIM with no success. I also tried Palringo (loved it), but it keeps disconnecting me and the fact that you have to open the browser to even get it connected is a deal-breaker for me. I need something that is free/cheap and will connect upon device startup without any hiccups.

So far I have tried the following programs under the T-Zones proxy: Agile Messenger (too expensive), IM+ (not connecting), Palringo (pain to connect), Slick (love it but won't connect), Fring (not connecting), Mundu IM (Not connecting), Gizmo5 (hated it, no auto-connect on startup), OctroTalk (not connecting), and finally eBuddy (heard good things about it but haven't been able to get it to work. I selected the Moto Q version from the website since they don't have the Dash listed and it won't allow me to get past the first screen. Maybe someone can tell me which version of brand/model they selected for the app download?).

Thanks in advance...

you might want to try switching the port on IM+ to 25. As for me, I still have to start up my browser just to get my Edge connection going before I start using IM+, but it usually works every time.
