What's the cheapest to test flashing?

I am pretty comfortable using all the software now, but I still am afraid of using my Touch Cruise as a test subject. Can I get some suggestions on what I could buy on the cheap to start flashing roms? I was thinking a SX66 (Blue Angel)

A BA is a good phone to use and learn on, it is very easy to configure and very forgiving of mistakes. One word of caution though, if you buy a BA and flash a good ROM on it you might find that your Touch Cruise gets left sitting in a drawer. :D
