p3400 from India, not working in UK

Hi,
I have a p3400 I was using in India, it was working fine.

I am now in the Uk and have got a vodafone number, when my mobile boots up, it shows operator incompatible.

What to do..?

Please reply ASAP.

Try flashing a different ROM.This (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=382063) one should be compatible.

Or get your phone SIM n CID Unlocked (if you guys have one for Gene) else yeah get a UK based ROM (for your provider)
