Is there a way to prevent the TyTN II from switching to the Today screen after the unit was put into standby? I'd like the application I was on when I put the unit into standby to be the app visible when I turn the unit back on.

Thanks.

Mine's real funny. Sometimes it switches back, sometimes it doesn't!

(probably has something to do with my cooking/flashing habit)

Mobile Shell 2.0 has an option for it too.

Cavey, I have MS 2.0, where is the option?

rebecker, go to Personal and then Today then items tasb then UNtick "Today Timeout" option.

MS 2.0 has the option to show the Now Screen when the device wakes up. Just goto; Spb Mobile Shell / Settings / Now Screen Tab / Click on the show the Now Screen check box / Click OK.

Figured it out! If I have the password function active the Today screen appears. If I turn off the password function whatever is on the screen when I put the TyTN in standby is there when I turn it back on. Obviously, some "feature" HTC added to the TyTN II :)

Thanks.
