Hi,

I just wanted to know if this topic has been covered yet and if so can someone point me in the right direction to the thread.

I have and XDA Stellar and want it to automatically record phone calls for me, so I can later put them on my computer.

I had an XDA Exec before I never managed to do it I think it was down to the hardware or something but I don't know about the Stellar.

I am sorry if this topic has been covered if it has please point me in the right direction.

Thanks

Tanya

This topic was discussed one thousand times already!

Short answer is "no go." Resco recorder has the automatic call recording feature, but it can't record the other end, if you don't turn on the speaker phone.

The lack of this useful application make me miss my treo very much.

actually I use VITO audio notes. I have the trial version. If you listen really really close (sit in a closet or something) you could hear your voice clearly and the other person verry verry faintly. Maybe by buying the software it'll enable you to hear the other person clearly by releasing some octaves or something. Lol. Look them up.

I understand the not-hearing-the-other-end "feature" is a limitation of these phones (I understand the Wizard, Hermes and Kaiser have this limitation). If you buy the software I doubt it will make a difference.

As Nghiem said, "it can't record the other end, if you don't turn on the speaker phone."

Put your pone call through the speaker and use voice recorder.

I would contact Vito Audio Notes, the company per say and ask them. I did hear the other person but it was very faint. I only made out what the person was saying because I remember our conversation.
