Update my unlock S710

Hi,

Ive a question about updating the software of my HTC S710. The device is unlocked and the simlock is also removed. But i wanted to update the software. Ive downloaden the update from 1/24/2008. The filename of the update is: RUU_Vox_HTC_WWE_1.34.405.1_4.1.13.54_03.10.90_Ship .exe. I had checked it and this is a newer version then mine now.

But i am affraid that if i update my S710 that the device is locked again. Can i update it without getting in trouble with a locked device? So that i can still use my sim-card. You guys have any experience with this?

I doubt flashing the new rom will lock your phone up.

but, even if it does why can't you just unlock it again?

Well ive updated my device and like you all sayd nothing happend. The rom 1.34**** is installed and its still unlocked =)
