LCD Screen broken !!!

hello,
I managed to break my LCD of XDA IIi, I managed to find the screen from ebay but i'm confused as ther are two models is says the first generationa nd the 2nd, one with silver flex and the other with a gold flex.
Which one would fit my Alphile, O2 XDA IIi. Please help me to find one. I'm in france...

take your xda apart.look on your board,if its a generation 1-it will be a slide in cable/a generation 2 is a clip on version.i have a version 1[slide in] for sale if you need one.pm me

I also broked/scratched my XdaIIi screen (my 3 years old daughter :o), the phone continued to work, but when i rebooted it, it started to ask me to touch the target to align the screen.
But it doesn't work...no alignement...:(
When i touch it i can hear the plastic cover, but the screen is also scratched/broked.
Any solution?

It seems that you have to change a new screen for your phone. You can go to the nearest phone store and fix it. I always think the phone store is safer than online shop cause you can watch when they fix it.

Change a new one....That problem is annoying especially when you have to make a call and that happens.

I hv just purchased a gen 2 for my m1000. SO how to decide is to open ur Device and chk the part no. OR look at the connecting cable Gen1 is insertion type (Sandwich) and Gen2 is Cap type it looks like Plug. AND b4 purchse i cooked a rom which is without The Welcome and Touch Alignment so if u wish i will upload it for u.
