Found this handy little app a while ago,easy to customise. I use it alongside my Mortbuttons (on the bottom row) and it has plenty of other built in features.:)

The plugin is the third row of icons on the screenshot.It has a built-in task manager and indicators you can put on your Today screen like battery,memory,running progs,last call,divert profile,etc. Its very much underrated.
