I know, but when I was going anyway, I just created the whole list. ;-)

Still (or because of it) great job. I know it's kinda annoying to make cabs and especially if you have to change the ini for each language!
Next is full translation, but I am waiting for the muis from a German Emulator Image! (that's you Microsoft - make one!!!)

I havent tried, but the danish one works on 6.1, so I guess that the frensh work aswell... :-)

Sorry. I cant help you. But if you can provide a link to an original rom, I can extract the language files, and create a cab.

This would only add T9 in French but how can we translate the whole system in French?

Again, there are no translations for Wm6.1 yet, because Microsoft didn't release translations. Wait for Translated Emulator Images and you will have a translated ROM!

Yes, it's nice to have finally the umlaute on the keyboard, but it's strange that you have to press the key longer for the ?
Also it seems that the combination Fn+XT9 doesn't work more.

I will redo the cabs later this evening.
One for eT9 (one for each language), so ALL windowsmobile devices can use that one, and one for keyboard layout only for vox. Then you can combine it as you want to.
I'm properly finished in a couple of hours.

Hi, I'm new here... so this is my first question :-)

sorry for the 'noob' question, but i just got this phone yesterday. It was a full french version, so I've put the WWE rom on it (i'm dutch), however, the keyboard now is QWERTY layout. I downloaded the french-azerty cab file and installed it on the phone. Still qwerty though, so i guess I missed something.

Anyone who can help me out? Thanks!

*EDIT* After messing around with the registry and chaging some keyboard-values, it magically works... so, you can ignore my question ;-)

Im sorry to hear. - I will remove it again.

I think it dosnt work because the rom dosnt contain the right set of characters. just like it dosnt contain chinese etc.

I cant fix that. Dont know how to do that.

thanks for the work in the first place. but i've got a problem. i downloaded the german xt9 and keyboardlayout. now when i press fn and than "a" "o" or "u" i get "ä" "ö" and "ü" which is cool, cause i did not knew where to find them with the normal htc setup. but now i don't know how to do the normal keys ( "?" "(" and "+") esspacially the questionmark is important. so can anyone tell me how to write this three signs?

You'll get "?" with long press on "A" key....and so on! :)

I have an issue with the scandinavian language pack. After upgrading to the Mona Lisa ROM and installing the scandinavian pack, xt9 no longer suggest any swedish or english words, except for those that I have previously typed in myself.
Any suggestions on what to do/check?
Have tried to reinstall swedish.cab and reboot. I do get a warning message that the cab is built for a previous version of Windows and might not work properly.

Those languages do NOT change the system language (like menus etc...)they do only change the T9 language and the Keyboard Layout--> to do that Compose a message than keep pressed # key... a menù will popup and there choose your language

You have to cook your own rom, with the proper mui files, to translate it
