I recently installed the 10 Button Comm Manager and ran into the registry editing problem that seems to be very common.

My phone had the entry

"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SOFTWARE \HTC \CommManager \WLAN= "Windows WLanMgr.exe " "DeviceName" = "{98C5250D-C29A-4985-AE5F-AFE5367E5006} TIACXWLN1"

and not TNETW12345 or any variation like most of the fixes posted suggest.

On my Wing I had to change TIACXWLN1 to TNETWLN1

I hope this post prevents an other noob from having to go thru the hassle I went through trying to figure out what the hell to enter into the registry.
