Does AssistedGPS even work? (formally: how many of you have working gps?)

ever since i flahsed dutty's wm6.1 rom, my phone just freezes when i try to use gps.

could someone tell me what rom they are using with working gps?
or what radio they are using?

EDIT: so i just simply turned assisted gps off using kaisertweak, and now theres no freezing, i wonder why..

I used both the standard T-mobile NL rom, and the latest dutty rom.
Both work great with tomtom.

i have dutty's 6.1 and i have used gps before and i didnt have any problems with it.

Dutty's Apr 09 ROM with the included NIKI radio. TomTom works great.

Using Dutty's Apr 9 release - no GPS issues.

If i attempt to run tt6 with any rom the only way i can get a fix is by these following steps:

1)open both quickgps and tt
2)download on quickgps while tt is open
3)switch back over to tt and I then have a fix

note: assisted gps enabled

Problem fixed, i turned off AssistedGPS. i wonder why this was causing the problem.

I went into KaiserTweak, and diasbled AssistedGPS.

I have Assisted GPS enabled in Dutty's 6.1 and TomTom is working fine here.
