I started another topic for this wonderful ROM by dvha79_ddt @ pdaviet.net. I'm not sure how good your english is but your ROM's are awesome and are getting better everytime.

This version is rock solid for me so far!! My only suggestion would be. Have you considered making the ROM UC Comliant? (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366333) Then use that to install the stuff your installing at startup so we can add/del and fully customize the install and make it automated.

For those of you who don't know the major differences of this ROM

BIGSTORAGE
NetCF 3.5 (all version before have 2.0 except green&clean but black&clean is still newer)
8MB PagePool (This can be changed anyway)

Enough reasons to start a new topic and this ROM is really fast. I think I'm gonna try a 6MB PP.

For those of you having problems with hard resets I strongly suggest flashing a wm6 rom like vp3g's at&t wm6 ROM before flashing this ROM. I always flash that wm6 ROM before any WM6.1 ROM and haven't had a hard reset since.

FOR THOSE IN THE US MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE YOUR PHONE BAND SETTING BACK TO 'AUTO' OR IT WILL NOT FIND YOUR NETWORK.

Have you found out what he did to make the stereo profile work? I'm still using his first 19209 and have upgraded to .net 3.5. I've applied the "fix" for the a2dp and noticed it puts a drain on the battery and the cpu utilization stays at 100%. So I did a hard reset and used sprite backup to restore. Until I have some time, I'm sticking with this rom. I tried to do the upgrade option w/sprite backup, but it didn't work the way I wanted with B&C. Any ideas on the A2DP? Thanks

No clue at all but even using the .cab to fix wireless stereo in the old one didn't work completly the same as before.

I'll have to check it out when I get a chance.

You must change your keyboard layout to your needs. i am from austria an changed it throught "schaps advanced config tool" (is onboard --> Programs -> tools) to German.

You will need to find out what your keyboard layout is supposed to be. In the US for AT&T/Cingular, the layout is 263177.

Hi, the ROM is great, it's very fast and I'm quite happy with it. However, there's just one small thing which annoys me - whenever I start my phone I get a message saying that my network operator is not in it's database even though it finds the network afterwards. Can something be done to get rid of that message?

P.S. My Network operator is Telenor Serbia.

Go to Setting > Connections > Connection Setup > Menu > Enable Auto Configuration (unckeck it)

Thanks for the great ROM. It runs so much faster then any other I have tried. I do have one issue I need help with. My email syncs with Exchange. But my phone doesn't ring or vibrate anymore when I recieve a message. Also, some messages don't come in as soon as Exchance recieves them. My 8525 shows a notification but I rely heavly on it an audable notice.

Any Ideas?

i used the Green and Clean rom for more than a week. I was very happy with it, fast! now trying this Balck and Clean one, running for 2 days. so far so good. Still fast!


i wouldn't mention it being "stable" because apparently, in all WM6.1 roms, one user would say it's stable and another one will say it freezes and hard-resets.

I've been changing roms since november 2007. And based on experience, flashing an official rom before a cooked rom helps. No lock-ups.

Hey, i have found a solution, PCM Keyboard is now running on the B&C Rom :D:D

1. Grab PCM Keyboard http://www.pocketcm.com/keyboard.php
2. Grab the Default IM Selector here http://www.pocketcm.com/downloadfile.php?f=defaultimWM5.zip
3. Trasfer CAbs to your device
4. Install PCM Keyboard CAB (DONT SOFTRESET or DO ANYTHING!!!)
5. Install Default IM Selector
6. Start -> Programs -> IM Selector -> chose PCM Keyboard
7. Start -> Settings -> Personal -> Input -> Select PCM Keyboard
8. Soft Reset your device and be happy with PCMKeyboard!!!

Just one question, how to turn-off the spellchecker function? It's quite bugging me when typing with my own language in sms, word, ie etc.

Let's say i type "halo" then the spellchecker will replace the word into "hall" automatically :(. Eventhough it can be revert back to "halo".

EDITED : Found the problem. I used PCM Keyboard. By default they're using spellchecker. Sorry. My bad.

This is a great ROM. I love it! It allows me to do everything I was doing before and so much more!

I have two questions:

I used to be able to press and hold the comm button and the phone would toggle between ring and vibrate mode. I cannot seem to do this with this ROM.

The other question has to do with installing a hermes 8 button comm manager. Whenever I try to install the cab file, it says that I had an unsuccessful install. Are there any ways to install the cab with this ROM?

There is an English option choice at the bottom of the pdaviet web page. Click the 'tieng viet' box and select English...
