hey, got two questions regarding the outlook and the IE

1) is it possible to make outlook disconnect the data connection after sending / receiving mail automatically? Reason: every trafic below 20 kb at a time is free at my provider. so if outlook checks mail and uses less then 20 kb and disconnects, its free all the time!

2) at college we have wifi. however, you have to confirm some kind of pop up window after entering your username / password. i can enter name and PW but it seems the IE doesnt support the pop up or the protocoll or whatever. i can chek mails with outlook, etc but i cant surf with the explorer. it just stays at the site where i have to enter name and PW. on the computer it is no problem....

3) is there anyway to set a mp3 song as a reminder?! i want to use it in the morning to wake up, but the stupid notifier sounds get on my nerves! or do i need extra app?

4) is there any application which allows me to controll utorrent or similar on my computer with the phone? meaning to find and add new torrents to my computer with the phone when i am not home?

You can set the max amount you want to download per message (you can actually limit it to headers only if you want.

Kaiser Tweak (search here on the forum) will allow you to disconnect after checking - great battery saving device ;).

You can put mp3's on your phone and use them for alarms - again search is your friend.

The other questions will have to be answered by smarter people.

thx, the disconnect works.

i know that i can set mp3s as ring tones. however, when i go to clock & alarm i cannot chose the mp3 i added to ringtone folder, only standard alarms (which suck!) what can i do?

well the torrent program i found i only for the actual windows mobile device. you download right to the phone. i need something to control my computer ;)

another strange thing with outlook: i use googlemail. but when i hit send / receive, my outlook receives new email from my sent folder. so i send an email via phone and the next time i receive axectly the same message. whats up with that?
