Actually, I know the developer for SiriusWM5... And I have a T-Mobile Wing as well (although I'm still trying to find the official rom for WM6 to restore the GPRS settings.) (Also, I'm working with him on another Sirius/XM related project)

SiriusWM5 will work with Windows Media Player but on T-Mobile I have only gotten it to work with 32Kbps. If you try 129Kbps (the premium stuff), you'll get constant shutoffs. I've since switched it to TCPMP to stop the shutoffs and I've been listening ever since.

I am glad to find this program, but I have a problem. It only works when connected to my PC. I have a T-Mobile Shadow and an HTC 7501 and both work great when connected to my PC, but as soon as I unplug them I can an error saying "there's no network connection". Any clues how to fix this? Thanks!

yea its the internet sharing basically once an application is running over the internet (sirius ce) it registers that ip address.
once you disconnect the cable you lose transmission

now couple of questions do you have the data plan or total internet??

also later ill get the a2dp on the first post

did you use network wizard to get all your data and network settings?

Honestly, all I did was memorize the settings from the original ROM and put it in to the hacked ROM, and all went fine. So that problem is solved.

this doesn't work for me. I keep getting 'connection failed' error. doesn't matter if I'm using EDGE, my WIFI or connected to my PC via USB. And yes, I went into settings and put in my user details. Still no joy.

EDIT - maybe this doesn't work with the 30-day trial account which is what I tried logging in with...

I have been using siriuswm5 for the last year on my Tilt and it works great. Today I decided to listen to an NFL game and realized that those channels weren't listed. After searching for a new version I found that geekstoolbox.com was not active. Anyone know if there is a newer version or if there are any alternatives.

Thanks,

im not sure ill check for an updated one

after checking i do not see an updated version for this cab
also the other option that we have is for sirius ce which is also not updated
i think the only other option you have is to go to select radio but its not free

on your fuze find the file and click on it and follow the instructions.

Maybe I did the whole thing wrong, but in File Explorer, I find the files. One says "_setup" I clicked on that and it went to the internet, but the screen is blank.

The other file says Channels, and the other two bothe say SIRIUS 1

Clicking on any of those three I get a message saying there is no associated application.

Do I need to start over, and if so, what are the steps? Thanks

Well it's useless because it's 35kb/s.
I have lifetime sirius subscription and using my user/pass.
Is there any way to get higher than 35kb/s without paying additional "listen on-line" fees?

right now this seems to be the only sirius app working with all the online listening changes they are doing. thanks for this one!

First, let me thank you for this program and the hours you must have spent working on it. Perhaps you can assist me as I am having an issue but I think it might be me & not your program. I get as far as the connect screen (TMobile Wing) and all of the channels (1-209)...click connect, requesting Sream...get validation image, get Validation audio, then the enter code window pops up with the scrambled characters....I carefully enter them & click OK (not play) screen says Logging In....and then.....Connection failed. I've tried it every way I can think, adjusting the settings, selecting & deselecting the TCPMP protocol. Login name & password is correct....I'm thinking it might be because I have a yearly Sirius subscription on my factory cars radio and I'm am using the login info for it. Must one purchase another account in order for this to work? Or hopefully I am doing something very stupid? I begin by clicking on the SiriusWM5 app. file on my storage card. Am I suppossed to try opening it through WMP instead? If so, how? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Again, thank you for posting this program....hopefully I'll get it working.

Ok I had Sirius working fine on my Touch Pro 2. I had to do a hard reset and couldn't find the initial cab file so I did a search. Somewhere on here I found one WM5 I think it was but it had the latest channel listings my old one had the old listings so this must be a different cab then my old one. I went under settings and put in my user name and password and hit save. It keeps telling me connection failed. It worked before I did the hard reset but like I said it may be a different cab file.. I have the Touch Pro 2 by Sprint. I have unlimited data. I tried checking the TCPMP too butI don't know what that is and it still said failed. Thanks. Rose
