A Little Query for Dr. Gonzo Rom 1.1V

Hi,

I m using the slide panle with media theme. Now i wish to change the default folder for the Pictures in this.
Currently it picks the images of the folder "Main Memory/My Picutres"
I want to use the Pics folder of my Storage Card. How can i do so.
I tried to fiddle with a registry entry for "default path" but in vain.

Can someone help me??

did you try to change this key and reset? don't panic if it does not work. just change it back and reset again

I hope you mean Reboot by saying Reset.

Its hard coded in cmhome.dll you cant change it i made one for Excalibur which see the hole of your storage card

ohh!! forgive my ignorance, but if i wish to change this how can i do so. Can you please share some pointer. Or may be a work around for that matter.

Things I'd like to find :

* How to make the My Pictures panel in the new homescreen to look for pictures in other folders. Any idea ? Apparently we need to hex edit cmhome.dll for that

If you put your pictures in this location, the sliding panel will read there.

@xounet, what location are you taking about. I m currently having my pics at \Staorage Card\Pics.

Do i need to change the folder location or what???

anybody has any ideas how to change it? would bengreat to have access to real album. not gonna store pics in main memory. suggestions needed.

i got partial solution. if you put pics in DCIM directory on mem card they gonna be on home screen!
the only registry entry i found with DCIM value in is
hklm-system-pictures-camera-oem-picturelocation-external
but after changing it nothing happens. anybody knows how to change default camera folder? so all the taken pics are in DCIM folder?

I'm with tepss. I want my camera to simply save to Storage Card/pictures and I'll be in heaven.

This is something even i will be interested in...As you might be aware we can as pf now store pics in \Storage Card\my Pictures folders only and they are pulled in to Home Screen...

Can some Senior member help a way out

? pics are stored i MY PICTURES on mem card and plugin reads everything in folder DCIM so we're looking for changing location in settings in camera to have them saved in DCIM or changing folder read by MyPictures slide. anybody?
