Ok so I have Tomtom 6.032 and also GPSTEST installed, GPSTEST is using com4 9600baud and it finds the GPS and also the satellites without issue. Now on to TomTom, It finds the GPS using com4 as well as built in, but it will not locate any satellites I left it out side in the bright sun for an hour (plugged in) and it still said searching for satellites. Now its nice to know where I am using GPSTEST, but what I need is to be able to locate a route using TomTom, yet as I said it will not find the satellites (but does find the GPS unit). Quick GPS is up to date and has 4+ days left in the current download.
So I had TomTom working previously at home (so I assumed it would still work), and then needed it to get to a customers location and found that poof it no longer works. One of the major reasons I wanted a Kaiser over the Verizon phone was the GPS unit.
Any idea why 1 GPS program works and TomTom does not? As I said it does not appear to be any issue with connecting to the GPS unit only locating satellites.
