To be honest I'm not quite sure what you are asking but I think it is that your windows folder is not showing on your pc when exploring thru AS. Have you tried to explore via my computer/mobile device? Is it the same when you do?

After you click on the Explore button and the window opens, click on: My Windows Mobile Based Device.
It should be the first item listed at the top of the explorer window.
Then you will see all the root level folders ... including \windows.

On your PC, double check your Folder Options in the Windows Control Panel. Make sure "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" is unchecked.

Actually that "hide protected operating system files" only applies to the PC.
It makes no difference when you are talking about your connected Windows Mobile device.
That option is checked on my PC, and I can see and browse the Windows Mobile \windows directory just fine.
When you first click on the Explore button it launches you into the My Documents folder on the WM device. To move to the root you need to click on My Windows Mobile-Based Device.

Me either can`t see windows folder, I tried both ways, with unchecked hide protecting operating blah-blah, through AS and My Computer, and I can`t see the Windows folder on my Kaiser.
