Hi,

I recently upgraded to Vodafone's v1415, and there's one feature I dearly miss from my old phone. That's having it beep or vibrate every 5 minutes or so if it has a new notification (such as a text message, a missed call, etc) until I respond. Is there a way to set that up with this phone?

Thanks.

You can do this with mortscript. Use the search function. It should be somewhere on the forum!

Thanks for the quick reply. I looked around a bit on the forum but couldn't find anything that didn't involve upgrading Windows or some other dramatic change. Did I miss something, or is that the only way?

I have to admit to being very new to the whole scene; this is my first smartphone, so I'm not familiar with most of what's written on the forum. I'm usually good with technology though, so if upgrading Windows is indeed the only way, I wouldn't need a guide for *complete* idiots :)

It is very simple to flash a rom (upgrade windows as you put it). I would suggest doing that anyway, if you arent completely against it. Check the Vox Wiki, which is located in my sig and read about flashing roms and decide if you want to go that route.
