I saw an extra large X button in relation to a battery status theme....got me to thinking....could someone perhaps create a battery status theme that will provide only the large X button which would make closing apps thumb friendly for recessed screens......themers?....skinners?......I'm sure the entire community can appreciate such a simple app

i so totally concur on this. we need a thumb sized x-button badly. I'd try gestures, but they don't seem to work

You can try this theme for battery status?

I think that the easyest way would be to alter HTC Xbutton2. there is no reason to have some app attached to it. the problem with so many apps for the ppc is that they have too much shtuff bundled with them. so the end result is like having an XP comuter running Vista. the simpler the better. what would be better still is to hack into the system it self and find the actual size of the real button itself and change that. perhaps another thing that most people can do now (which does not always work) is increase the sensitivity of the touch screen; as well as install the new version of touch.dll I found that installing the new one helped me out xuite a bit. I use my pinkey to close button... with a Wizard and a case... which makes the screen even more recesesed than normal. it seems to work well.
I agree however that this needs to be done. would be a perfect size .75cm.

No takers on this one? Is this about to die a death?
Seems to be a lot of interest in having a larger, finger friendly X button available as I found to my cost the othr day.
Is there no developer that can take this on, perhaps with some financial inducement?

I personally use the "Active Corners" feature of FTouchSL 2.7 as my extra large X button. Once pressed I have it assigned to close the active program on screen regardless if it has an [X] or not. It is by far one of the handiest features.

there are many WKtask users out there, is there a thumb sized X that is compatible with WKtask? You cant use WKtask and HTC Task manager at the same time can you?
