Fixing a G4, need some help..

I ogt a frined with a G4 that I am trying to fix if possible.

THe device was CID unlocked long time ago and I installed on it TNT Series WM 6.0. He says he was taking pictures and video and the phone got locked, so he soft reset and now it will not reboot completelly it stays in the TNT Series screen.

Is the device bricked?

I have put it into bootloader mode and try to flash the latest TNT WM 6.1 but It will not connect to active sync... what should I do?..

If there is a quick advice in somebody's mind I will appreciate as I am just helping this guy...

Have you tried a hard reset?

being on bootloader I flashed with "Wizard_Love_2[1].26.10.2_WWE_Novii_CF2" ....

What would be the best or latest WM 6.1 cooked ROM available that anybody would recommend.... I know I can read but I am just doing a favor for one friend....
