Old trick.. not sure if you all know it or maybe it's somewhere else but here is how to do it..
Hard reset your ATT Tilt and do the setup with screen alignment. When it gets to the Today screen it will pop up a prompt that it's going to install software in 3 seconds. At that moment you can soft reset the phone and none of the bloat will be loaded. I'm not sure if that saves you space on the rom but I don't like bloat. You will need to install an SMS app because I didn't notice one but everything else worked fine. Let me know if this is old news or not.
