Call waiting (busy) tone....is it possible?

I was wondering if there is any way through windows mobile to have the ability to recognize if the caller you are ringing is busy (through a tone or a message on the screen). I have this feature on my sony ericsson phone and is a very good feature.

I'm pretty sure this has come up before, but seem to remember the answer being that it depends on the carrier to support it.
