ROM HELP!!!!!

Im fairly new to this forum but a die hard fan. I have an alltel touch i bought about 3 weeks ago and love it. Ive tried and managed every app and tweak i could find and i really want to install and try a few romS Ivseen on here. I have an original rom saved to go bak to just need some pointers abouy what i exactly need to do to put new roms on here. Any help would b greatly appreciated by me and alot of other noobys out there any from what ive read. Detailed insructions (unlocking, if it has to even be done for rom changes, any software needed) would be great and most important any help gettin pointed in the direction of a wm6.1 ROM that will work with this would be awesome. Heres my device info now if it helps.
