** Big problem : my dual keep in bootloader screen **

first i tride to but another rom in my pocket (htc touch dual) then i follow the steps put the screen kept in color screen (bootloder) >>>

i try to format but it steel there and write in it :

NIKI100
SPL-1.17.0000
CPLD-4

please help me

you cold try hard reset:

power off
hold call+call disconnect buttons together, then while holding these press power on button.

but, i'd wait until someone whose tried flashing roms confirms this will reset back to original touch dual rom, as i havent tried flashing as of yet

Download MTTY and use Command "boot" if it doesnt work ... please tell us what you have done???

Why nobody cant use the search function and why on earth it is impossible to tell, what was the last thing you have try to get this error!!!

If you have get your OS back ... please dump your SPL and share it with me, for future development!

connect phone trough usb and start program.

Make sure that right after you ENTER on the "boot" command you DISCONNECT the USB cable. That worked for me. Now I'm sporting the WWE ASIA rom.

all works but whene i update to wwe asia rom its stoped in 1% then my phone come in black screen then return back color screen bootlodere

Basicly I did the following:

After recovering from the tri-color screen I did it according my own procedure to make sure it works:

1.) I placed the sspl-1.16-nike.exe on the Niki

2.) disconnect the USB

3.) Then renamed the hardspl-1.15mfg-nike.nbh to uspl-1.16-nike.nbh in the flash-uspl-niki folder

4.) run the sspl-1.16-nike.exe on the device

5.) connect the USB cable to device and desktop/laptop

6.) wait for it to say USB on the Niki

7.) flash the renamed uspl-1.16-nike.nbh with ROMUpdateUtility.exe from flash-uspl-niki

8.) ran the sspl-1.16-nike.exe on the Niki again

8.) and install the WWE ASIA rom afterwards.

Problem solved :D

ps: I stated 40 some hours of battery time compaired to the original T-mobile rom. Currently I am exceeding the 48hrs and have mad amount of batterylife to spare. Usage was 7% per 8,5hrs. You do the math. I am going to make 4 days with usage and 5 days would be without usage. I'll keep you posted.

Same Hacks are very complicate. If you dont wana read ... buy a normal Mobile Phone. I thing you dont want buy a 700us$ Phone and kick it one week later.

I read the whole thread before and I ended up as falojjah with a tri-color screen. My alternate procedure worked for me and now works for falojjah and all you can say is the above? pffff :mad:

Not all Roms need it!

Install it only, if you have a TouchFLO Problem. The most Roms have includ it!

And to this downplay I say that it does make sense to install it because it clearly made Touchflo respond smoother and quicker on the WWE Asia rom. pfff :mad:

Dont mean to hijack the thread, aiondennis9000 Can you confirm that you are getting much better battery life with the asian rom, as opposed to the t-mobile rom, also have you tried the niki project rom?

I can 120% confirm the batterylife is way better then the original T-Mobile rom the unit came with. I am doing my second run now. I charged my unit 2 days ago at exactly 23:22hrs. Now at 23:41hrs I have 30% left.

BUT......this is after full usage of bluetooth (connected to my Pioneer DEH-P65BT) , GPRS (synch email every 5 minutes), frequent calling (at least once every half hour, sending sms.

So very good in my book. I can make it at least 3 days with full usage and 5 days with moderate usage.
