Hi Guys

I have a few questions about running a tytn2 with tomtom and having it in a car cradle making and receiving calls whilst using tomtom.

A is this possible, how well does it work?

What happens to the tomtom voice when the call is in progress?

Can the tomtom run on the tytn2 without a sim card in it or does it need gprs connection?

In essence how well does it work and is it reccommendable?

Yes it is possible to recieve calls when using TomTom, if you answer an incoming call the sound of TomTom will be muted untill you finish your call, however you will still be able to see the map and know where you are!

TomTom does not need any gprs connection so you can run it without sim card but you have to turn your phone on or it will asume flightmode and not activate the GPS!

TomTom works great on the Tytn II, I have an HTC Advantage and the Tytn II is much faster then the advantage when it comes to finding and calculating the route!

So I will say that you should go for it!

It doesnt need a GPRS connection so it Works whitout SIM card too.

The others questions, I don't Know. I've already used it but don't remember. Seems recommandable but wait others point of view.
