SPV M5000: problem when trying to update ROM

after running an update the ROM (Ranju's - v7.6 core) without any error the pda does not boot.
it remains stack with the operator logo and the version of software:
R 1.13.00
G 42.47.P8
O D.07.60 RAN
I try to reset the device but it remains in the same screen.
even when I try to restore factory defaults nothing is changed.
can you help us please?

in fact the problem is that I cannot enter in usb mode on device

I had a similar problem recently. It turned out that Activesync was the problem. I was connecting ok via the USB lead into bootloader but for some reason Acivesync was corrupting the upgrade. It would go through OK & reboot but then stop at the startup screen. I tried a couple of time but the same. I found a thread that said use MITTY to reset the phone. Tried again, same. Then reset again using MITTY, set activesync NOT to allow usb connections & this time it worked fine. I had no such problem on a laptop just my normal PC.

the problem was in fact that I couldn't go to boot loader mode.
solved by pressing light, power, soft reset.
