GPS werid problem...

ok i recently install the new alltel rom with the updated radio 3.37.20. I then used kitchen and installed dcd 3.0.4 rom cuase the gps wasnt working with the newest alltel rom from the htc site. I dont know what its doing. When i load any gps program it never finds satalites or any info. If i load Freecaddie up it says sat: 0 and flashes gps data not valid every second. Ive loaded noni gps plot and set the same setttings i had before all this and it still never find satalites. ive download the quick fix. Is there something i didnt install with the kichen when i flashed thats no linking my gps? Thanks.

im not familiar with either of those programs, but is it possible that somewhere in the options you need to make sure your port is on com4 and the baud rate is 4800?

have u tried google maps since that uses windows to configure? or holux gps viewer and make sure it gets a lock(at least 3 blue bars) with com4 4800...?

ok found out i didnt have location setting on for 911. that made the error go away but it still never finds any satalites at all it will search for hours and enver lock on to any. any more thoughts?

ok if this helps for those who read. my gps seems to be working but it like finds the satalites and disconnects from them ass soon as it finds them. i have noni gps plot if you wna dl it and see. it sows a compass with the blue and grey balls for sats. it shows 1 grey at the north point of course and it will have line markers for each sat it finds for something. it turns blue on the compass when u have a good sat connection. mine turns blue for a second then goes back to grey. on the mains scrren it goes red when u have signal . mine goes red then back to off agian. i dunno what would be disconnect me. anyone?
