Need help install unofficial HTC ROM

I want to upgrade my HTC touch cruise to WM6.1. I tried differ version of ROMs in the postings here, none of them work. I downloaded the files, extract into folders, run ROM update, it came out some other language(maybe german), i click next step, the phone restart, then came out screen with 4 different colors, then start 0%, after 5 minutes, the screen on PC stoped, i know it failed. some of the ROMs in english language, such as the one from VIET site, but I get same result.:confused:


can anybody tell me if there is any step i need to take before update those ROMs, or any thing i need to do to unlock the phone to do this?;)
