cannot sync in window mobile device center

I tried to install those unofficial roms, they are installed successfully and running, but i cannot sync in windows mobile device center. I can access all the files from pc, but just cannot sync, and cannot load with outlook data. the same problem with all those versions, all the builds, bepe, black, ultra light.


can anybody suggest how to fix this problem? :confused:

Restart WMDC because it gets terminated for the ROM upgrade process.
Then configure a new sync partnership (WMDC will most likely ask you for it).

when I click on 'set up your device', it says 'there is a problem with your connection, please disconnect your device and reconnect your device try again.'

if I disconnect and try again, it still the same result. :mad:

I just solved the same problem. Uninstall and reinstall Windows Mobile Device Center :)

citrix, if it doesnt solve your problem, try turing "advanced network functionality" off in the connection control panel. it's located under the usb-to-pc icon.

Did u restart device/vista?

i just tried it on other computer, it worked. so the problem is with this computer.

I also have this problem. I tried unchecking "Enable faster data synchronization" under USB to PC. I also uninstalled and re-installed WMDC. When I had bebe's 0.67 rom(radio was 1.64.xx.xx) I had no problem syncing with Outlook(2007). Now that I flashed c_shekhar's rom(also tried 3LIT3) I can only see files on my device, but no sync with Outlook. The radio is now 158.xx.xx. Anyone have a solution?
