Is the any way to split the sms and mms folders?

Is the any way to split the sms and mms folders? My Polaris is running on the original ROM.

Yeah, I'm genuinely interested in knowing that one as well. I find it very annoying to have them mixed on the one way but having to access them separately to (for example) compose a new message coming from certain screens.

my old asus p535 is sms and mms separated. the mms program not same as cruise's one.
