Hi all!

I have just dumped (backup) my original ROM.

ITS A ELFin 128RAM/256!!!

Here are the specs:

ROM Version: 2.26.519.2 PTB
ROM Date: 11/22/07

My device infos are:
DEVICE ID: ELF010150
CID ID: BSTAR502

Its from Brazilian operator VIVO (www.vivo.com.br)

I hope this ROM help the community!

Simplifying things:

Download the USPL here: http://www.4shared.com/file/45591272/c022140a/USPL.html

Download the ROM here:
http://www.4shared.com/file/45586522/18ade7c3/Backup_VIVO.html

Put the Backup_VIVO.nbh into \RUU folder.

Then follow these instructions:

FOR FIRST TIME CUSTOM ROM UPGRADERS:

1. Copy the Cert_SPCS.CAB and EnableRapi.CAB from the zip folder to your device's Storage Card.

2. Install the two cabs to your Device memory and do a soft reset.

3. Restart your PC or laptop (Optional)


USING THE INTEGRATED ROM UPDATE UTILITY WITH USPL CID UNLOCKER:

(ATTENTION: REMOVE YOUR 4GB, 6GB or 8GB mircoSDHC CARD WHEN FLASHING THIS ROM!)

1. Turn off your computer's Anti-Virus software if you can.

2. Activesync your device to your PC using USB port.

3. When the connection is completed (after synchronisation), double-click on elfin-uspl.exe file to begin the integrated ROM Updating Utility.

4. Now follow closely the instructions that appear on the computer screen.

5. Press [ENTER] to accept at each prompt to continue the process.

6. After Step 2/3 of USPL CID Unlocker, the device screen will turns "blank white" and your activesync icon gray (in Windows XP only).
Congratulations! You have successfully CID unlocked your device. Press [ENTER] to proceed NOW!

(NB: If you failed to see the "blank white" screen, then your CID unlocking has failed.
Restart your installation process from Step No.1)

7. Your device will now proceed to update your rom. Select and hit [NEXT] at each prompt to continue.

8. When the rom updating is completed at 100%, your device will restart automatically.

9. Congratz! You have successfully upgraded to a new rom.

Não, aparece só um nome : "smart mobility" , no meio da tela e dai não vai mais pra nenhum canto. Só desliga tirando a bateria, e já resetei ele mais não aconteceu nada.

Segui os passos bem direitinho, e deu tudo certo, ate ele reiniciar sozinho e ficar aparecendo esse nome.

Entrei no bootloader e coloquei a rom original e deu certo.

Sua versão não deve ser compativel com a minha, se vc achar outra ROm em portugues me avisa.

Entrei no bootloader e coloquei a rom original e deu certo.

Sua versão não deve ser compativel com a minha, se vc achar outra ROm em portugues me avisa.

Eu usei a original, baixada aqui no forum.

A mesma que estava nele antes.


Agora aqui não está mias sincronizando com o ActiveSync, só que nã casa da minha irmã está conectando normal.

Hard reset não funcionou, quando tento entrar com o mtty.exe ele diz que não pode abrir a porta USB.

talvez o problema de voces seja que a ROM da VIVO é para os modelos p3451, que é o modelo vendido pela vivo, porq o 3452 nao tem a banda 850mhz q é a usada pela vivo.
eu uso roms do 3452 no meu 3451 normalmente, sem problemas, talvez o inverso esteja dando problema a vocês

Pessoal, instalei a rom blue elves no meu ELF0100 e agora tentei restaurar para a ROM original...

Nao deu nenhum erro, porem a memoria agora aparece errada, antes aparecia 128MB/256MB agora com o restore aparece 64/129. AI se eu reinstalo a blue elves volta a memoria normal...

alguem pode me ajudar?

Amigo, mesmo com a cid bloqueada troquei de idioma várias vezes. mas na brincadeira e sem prestar atenção, coloquei uma rom de backup (vivo) no meu touch p 3452 ( tim). agora ele não passa de "smart mobility" e tudo que lí nos posts me diz que preciso da rom original, que ainda não encontrei. também não encontrei uma forma de desbloquear a cid.

Dude, in your previous ROM there was an "ExtROM" which is where TIM installed all the cabs with the operator's settings. I used RESCO EXPLORER 7.01 to view those files in the device root folder. You don't need to change your ROM again. You just have to copy those files from someone who has the same device you do and hasn't changed the original ROM. Install RESCO on this person's device, copy all the cabs inside the ExtROM and send them to your device.
There willl be several cab files there. You don't need to have them all in your device, but you have to find out which one you need. I'd install them all just in case...
After you install them, your device should be good to go!

Problem solved!!!
The technical assistance updated my mobile ROM and I managed to do the upgrading successfully a couple days latter... I became a "flashing addict" now... LOL... It works like a charm...

Wow man... My problem was that I didn`t wait for the blank screen before flashing a new ROM... Guess what... My cell was just displaying the bootloader screen... After a lot of reading I found out that was what I did wrong... And the "best" thing was that Hard SPL for Elfin was released one week after I screwed my device... But thanks to htctouchp (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2416770&postcount=5) I can flash any ROM I want straight from my Micro SD card if I want...
But anyway, unfortunately you`ll have to do some reading here in the forum... There are little details that would be good for you to know... I`ll see if I can post any hints or even create a thread explaining to all the "Brazucas" how to do it, lol... But before it happens, read about all the topics you think might be interesting... I`m really sorry bro, but it`s not so simple... There are many steps to be followed and they shoudn`t be ignored... But I`ll get back to you with some help soon... OK brutha?!:D

tentei flashear ele, mas ele morreu, tentei uma ROM original pra ele revive de outro modelo, tava com CID lock, e agora nao consigo transferi mais nada pra ele

agora ele ta com CID LOCK, nao passa da tela SMART MOBILITY, e nao tem sincronização com o ACTIVESYNC

como faço pra reviver ele ? ou ao menos tem como eu desbloquear o CID sem precisa do ACTIVESYNC ? vlw

you can install any rom on your elf preferably in English, and search the net for the translations for the Portuguese language in Brazil and I have done, is about 90% translated ok.

Galera eu fiz o update para o 3.1 e coloquei o Full trottle, mas agora não conecta no 3g nem fudendo... alguem sabe como fazer para resolver o problema do 3g?
se não esta dump funciona?? eu comprei o meu xoom na tim.. e ele funcionava com qualquer chip.
